About Me
What I’ve found to be one of the most valuable assets I bring to the table (and what I now look for when hiring), is a different lens through which to view B2B software and the way we present it. Let’s face it: we’re all tired of seeing nearly identical websites and infographics with the same buzz words repeated so often they no longer hold meaning.
My lenses? An uncommon combo of art/design/innovative thinking with an ability to take the complex and pragmatically break it down into an action plan. Multi-layered goals become strategic project plans that become lead-generating and pipeline-stacking results. I use my art/design brain to tap into new, creative ways to speak directly to my target audience, identifying and illustrating their pains in ways that make them feel seen and heard.
Most importantly though, multiple lenses, to me, signal agility. In my most recent post, I was second in command to the Marketing Director in an automation niche that was new to us both. I managed to get up to speed in two months and we have grown thirty percent each quarter since I started. When my supervisor departed somewhat suddenly, I was tasked with leading the marketing organization, hiring/managing the SDRs and the marketing team, creating goals and KPIs, and reporting directly to the CEO. I planned for the two largest annual sales events while executing a marketing campaign that lead to a 50% increase in demos booked compared to the previous year, despite half of the attendance due to the pandemic.
I believe that in order to be successful in getting someone's attention, you need to offer something that they value–time, knowledge, and solutions to a daily struggle–presented in a novel way. But a solution on its own usually isn’t enough for someone to stop what they're doing and listen. Timing is key, which is why I focus on Account Based Marketing and customize content to align with each prospect based on where they are in their journey.
